At Powergrid Electrical, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, please read the following policy carefully.

1. Returns

We accept returns within 7 days of the delivery date. To be eligible for a return, items must be:

Unused and in their original condition
In the original packaging with all accessories and documentation included
Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt)

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

Electrical components or products that have been installed, wired, or used
Items damaged due to misuse, incorrect installation, or negligence
Special-order or custom-sourced products
Products with broken seals or missing original packaging

3. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact us through our website's contact page with your order number and reason for return. We will review your request and provide return instructions within 2–3 business days.

4. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

5. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for items that are defective or damaged on arrival. If you received a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage.

6. Warranty Claims

Products covered by a manufacturer's warranty must be claimed directly with the manufacturer. We can assist in facilitating warranty claims where possible — please contact us for guidance.

7. Consumer Protection Act (CPA)

This policy is in addition to your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. Nothing in this policy limits or waives your statutory rights.
